AUCKLAND, Last Night. Shortly after starting work this morning, Alan Miller, agcd 56, married, quarry foreman, collapsed aud died in the Mount Wellington Road Board's quarry. A returned soldier, he leaves a widow and family. He had enjoyed good health. He had been employed by the board for 10 years. No warning was given of the collapse. Only when workmen saw him stagger and fall did they realise that he was ill. Mr Miller died before a doctor arrived.
