WELLlJNUTUiN, rnxs JJay. Restitutipn of £45 having been made, Mr Stilwell, S.M., imposed a fine of £15,. in default four months' imprisoninent, , upon Lewsly Frederick Keith Suridge, aged 29, storeman, who pleaded guilty to the theft betw.een Ju 3 1, 1936, and February 27 from his employer, T. and W. Young, Ltd., of Liquor to the value of £45. On a charge of theft between MaTch 1 and May 31, 1937, of liquor, cigarettes, pickles and other grocerifes, valued at £23 11/1, he was admitted to1 probation for 18 months. His nxother, Ethel Suridge, aged 49, was fined £20 for. selling liquor without a lieence and £5, in default one months ' imprxsonment, for receiving liquor valued at £5 14/11, knowing it to lxave been dxshonestly obtained.
