PALMERSTON N., This Day. The National Dairy Show was ofii'.H-1 ally opened by the Hon. W. Lee Martin. Mindster of Agricxxlture, who paid higll tributes to the organisers and exhihltore. He said that practically every winter show in the Donxinion was modelled on the National Dairy Show. The Minister stressed the need for gradang of pigs, and also for mixximising stock losses from disease on the lixxea t>f previous ad.dre!sses. The show is continuing to-day but was marred by steady rain.
