Hawke's Bay Successes At the New Plymouth poultry show held last week in connection with tho A. and P. Society, Mr, J, N. Baxrie (Otane) with one ontry in Plymouth Rocks secured first and special for best fancy Rock in the show, first with Silver Wyandotte coclcerel, first and second with Silver pullets, and the Joha Jarvis Memorial Shield for best fancy Wyandotte opposite sex to champion. in the Utility seetion a Silver cockerel got first and a Silver pullet first and two specials for best Utility Wyandotte in the show. In the Old English Game Bantam classes Master O. Kronk (Napier) was first for black red lien or pullet, third, for spangled hen, and in the modern game bantam classes seconds for black red hen, pile cock and pile hen, thjrd for pile pullet and r.h.c. for pile cockerel. G. T. Kronk was first for tumbler, long-faced, fcather-legged, cock, and first for hcn of same variety in the fancy pigeon seetion. In the homer pigeon seetion W. S. Strotlier (Napier) was third for blue or black cliequer adult cock, second for ben, and in the flown classes first for young hen flown 80 miles, second for young cock flown 1CO miles, second for young hen flown 100 miles, first for cock flown 150 miles, v.h.c. for cock flown 500 miles and h.c. for cock flown 200 miles. C. T. Kronk was first for ben flowp. 600 miles, third red or red che'quer young' cock, first for cock flown 600 miles. Sliielda (Napier) was v.h.c. for red or recj. chequer cock and for pied hen.
