Reference Made to Latc Mr. Cliarles Hawke

WAIPAWA, This Day. Ueference to the recent death qf Mr Cliarles Hawke, of Woodville, was made at yesterday's meeting of the Waipawa County Council by the chair man, Mr N. M. Paulsen. He recalled the good work done by the deceased as a local councillor, and on his motion the couucil deoided to forward a letter of sympatby to his relatives. He was one of the members of the original Waipawa County Council," he said, "and was at one time chairman. It is only fitting. I tliink, that we shoulcl recognise liis past valued services t° the county."
