There were good-entries for each event. and* soine close finishes. Oue of the most exciting contests was a special exhibition cliop. Tho final results m last Saturday 's ovents were tas t'ollow: Special exhibition 10-inch chop, 12 iuch, three cuts cross-cut aaw. — Eranl* Liobsou v. S. and M. Robsou. S. and M. llobson beat Frauk Robsou. Ten-inch cbop. — F. Caiupbell 1, il liobsou 2, Dou Iiobson 3. Final, 12-incli chop. — J. Harris 1. F. CampbelL L', Don Iiobson 3. Consolation - chop, 12-inch. — D. Strachan 1, F. Gulsliaw 2, T. Broughton 3. A special exhibition chop, in whicli Frank Robson (cutting a 10-inch block) competed against S. and M. Robsou (12-inch bloekl exoited very keen interest, the pair beating the single chopper by a very narrow margin.
