Hastings and Pirates to Meet in Napier RUGBY SUB-UNION'S DECISI0N To meet the wishes of the players,* the Hastings Rugby Football Sub-Union decided last evening that one of the three senior games set down for Hastings next Saturday should be played at Napier. This will enable the M.A.C. v. Celtic match to be played in the late aflerijoon at Nelson Park, Hastings. There was a full attendance of members of the management committee last evening, Mr. C. H. Bunker presiding, and the question of rearfanging the fixtures was one of the principal matters to receive attention. It was eventually decided to have the Hastings v. Pirates games transferred to Napier, special conveyance being arranged for the Hastings team. It was decided to play the Possibles prinary schools trial fol' the Ross Sliield team as a curtain-raiser to the Ilawke's Bay v. Poverty Bay senior roprepentative game at Nelson Park, Hastings, on Thursday, July 1. Ooiuplaints were voiced of the boys cycling round the playing areas at Nelson Park, and alBo of their parking cycles near the sidelinea, So creating a potential danger to players and speetators. It was deeided to issue a general warning that all boys found riding cycles in tho park during matches would be ordered to leave the grounds.
