Aero Club Pilot Lands at Waipukurau l'iefurning Irom "Wellington to Hastings on Saturday in the Hawke's Bay Aero dub's Moth plane ZK-AAB, Mr Y>. Shrimptoii was overtalten by darkness and landed on the Waipukurau acroarome at 4.30 p.m. He hoped to complete his journey ou Sunday, but' weather conditions made 'it inadvisable to take off. The wind rose at time to 50 miles an hour force, and tlie plane had to be lashed to the grouud. In view of the fact that the plane had been exposed to the weather, Mr M. Bateman flew down from Hastings yesterday morning in the plane ZKADIv and made a test flight. Many people in tlie town watched with interest as he performed a uumber of stunts The two 'planes left together for Huatiugs about 11 o'clock.
