N.S.W. Golf Final SYDNEY, june 12. In the final of the New South Wales amateur golf championship, Ferrier defeated Hattersley, one up. Ferrier was two down at the end of the morning round, but he played brilliantly in the afternoon, scoring four birdies in succession and reaching the turn in 31 — four strokes under par.
