Mr W. Horrobin has been appointed a Government representative on the New Zealand P.oultry Bqard. Mrs Tansley, of Auckland, who }ias been on a three weeks' visit to Mrs C. Caa-ter, of Napier, returns hqme on Saturday. Mr. A. J. Bannister, formerly supervisor of the Feilding Post 01fi.ee, took up his new duties as Postmaster at Port Ahurini yesterday. Master Jundor Farrell, the Wellington juvenilo pianist, who is to further his studies under Mr Alfred Hill, will leave fpr Sydney by the Wanganella today. Messrs E. M» Hunt and C. 0. Nash have been apppinted members of the Tobacco Board as representatives of the manufacturers. They replaee Messrs G. Husheer and E. B. Smith, who have res.ignecl Mrs E. G.
