Racehorses Bring High Prices C-, SYDNEY, June 10. ; At the dispersal sale of Mr. H. A. ITaylor's Macquarrie stud at Wellington, New Soutji Wales, to-day .the imported stallion Melfort, whose stoek iigured prominently in xecent yearling saies, fctched 8700 guineas, the buyer being Mr. H. S. Thompson, of .Tarwin Park. The New Zealander, Mr. W. T. Hazlett, was a bidder until 8500 guineas when he dropped out. The stallion Bampion p-as bought by Mr. E. A. Taylor for 550 guineas, the stallion Koomela by Mr. N. J. Veeeh fdr 410 guineas. Sixty-six brood mares realised 8930 guineas.
