WAIROA, Last Night. The weather was iine but very cold and over-cast to-day when the Poverty Bay juniors met and defeated the Wairoa juniors by 22 to 17 in a representative match, played on the Lambton sports ground, Wairoa. The referee was Mr G. Mackay. There was only a fair attendance of spectators. Tho ground was rather slippery after the' heavy rain, and the ball at tiines was hard to liandle. In the curtain-raiser the Pr/mary schoolboys defeated Combined by 23 to 3. The referee was Mr C; O. Mackay. ■ m /
