WANGANUI, Last Night. The Wanganui Jockey Club's winter meeting concluded to-day in fine and bright weather, and there was a very large attendance. The course was in splendid order, the racing good, and tlie totalisator handled £21,944, as compared with £20,634 10/- on the corresponding day last year. The total for the meeting was £A4,766, as against £33,037 10/-, the increase being £1728 10/-. The Wanganui Steeplechase resulted in an easy victory for Clarion Call, who won the Gentury Hurdles on Saturday.
