MASTEETOK, Last Kight. the Korth Islaud dog trial championship in whieh competitors from all paris of Kew Zealand are taking part is being held by the Masterton Collio Club at Te ore Ore. The Korth Isiand ehampionship long head rosulted (72 entries) : Fraser Smilh 's (Awakino) Highland King, 46—1, ilrst, G. McMillan's (Otane) Star, 44|, soCond, W. E. Nelmes'' (Waipukurau) Kainbow, 44, third. ' The Korth Isiand championsliip, short head and yard (75 entries), is now being decided.
