' • t Under the auspices of the BritishIsrael World Federation, Hastings branch, a lecture will be given in the room, Eailway road, on Thursday evening at 7.45. Mr H. W. Baillie, of Napier, will speak on "Britain's Glorious Mission." All people interested are cordially invited to attend this lectture. The reading-room and library wi"!l also be open every Saturday evening from 7.30 to 9 instead of on Tuesday af ternoons. All interested are invited to call for frce literature during these hours. A dance will be held in the Premier Hall on Saturday, June 12, at 8 p.m. Wi Duncan's five-instrument band will be in attendance.
