Joe E. Brown — "Sons o' Guns" "Sons o' Guns," Warner Bros. film version of the i'amous Broadway show, will be screened at the Waipukurau Theatre to-night (Tuesday). Joe E. Brown, the popular wide-mouthed comedian, plays the leading role. The story is set in the time of the Great War, but deals only with the humorous side of life in the trenches and behind the lines, giving the irrepressible Joe a colourful and picturesque background for his mirth-provoking antics. The supporting players include Joan Blondell, Beverley Eoberts, Ilric Blore, •Winifred Shaw. Promise yourself . i hilarious and happy evening with "Sons o' Guns."
