Mr. P. McKay, Hastings, is on a visit to Wellington. Mr. J. Hilliard, of Otahuhu, who has been visiting Hastings, retufned home this morning. The Governor-Generai, Viscount GalWay, arrived at Dunedin yesterday afternoon. This afternoon he opened the winter show, The Governor-Oeneral, Viscount Gal'way, has advised the. New Zealand Returned S.oldiers' Association that the bLing will be pleased to extend his patronage to the association". When his Majesty was in New Zealand as the Duke of Yorfi, he was made an honorary iife-niember.
