Meeting of Committee At the monthly meeting of t'he Taradale Library Committee, Mr T. M. McDonald presided over Mrs Gartly Miss Matheson, Messrs C. H. Williams,' F. O. Anderson, W. G.. Jarvis, J. Wilki json, A. Blair, F. Wiseman, R. Brown. J. Williamson (sec.). Leave of absence was granted Messrs J. Wainscott and B. Willis. Correspondence was road from tlio secretary of the Librarians' Association, stating that a special course on library work ' would be dealt with by Mr' E. Salter Davies, a past presidont of the Library Association (London), during July. The matter was left with Mr R. Brown to attend tlic course, if possible, as hc would be in Wellington at that time. Matters dcaling with readjustment of metal card discs for keeping the books of each author together, as well as considerable routine work, were discussed and arranged.
