The Napier Harrier Club on Saturday lield a pack run over flie course to be cojnpleted on the King's Birthday. The course was over six miles, starting from tlie Sound Sliell. down Krnerson street and Cavlyle street, around George's Drhe, along Latliain street and Sale street. and baek along the Parade, A large nuister of rmiuers f'aced tlie startei for a one-mile ,nm-in. Tlie first six home were as follow: — S. Goliop 1, A. G. Huglies 2, L. Oalcb 3, I. MeDonald 4, *F. Brook o, W. Didcoit 6. All ninners are to meet ai Ihe Munieipal Baths at 9 a.in. on tlie King's Birthday for the annuai road race. Chas. Weller, the present New Zealand champion, wil] be competing in this race.
