NAPIER PARK CLUB

Excellent Prospect? lor Winter Meeting With acceptances aggrogriting ninefcy per cent. of the original noniinations, t^ie Napier Park Racing Club is likely to have a very suocessful opening day foi> their rvinter meetingi on Wednesday next (King's Birthday). Two or tliree of those which have dropped out are racing elsewhere, so that all those which have accepted are likely to go to the post. Horses from this quarter did fairly well at Wanganui on Saturday, and those which will race at Napier Park are quite up to the standard ofi those running at the river city. With good fields for every race the events look very opeu and ther© should be some very close contests. Mr. H. Cbyle has brought the horses well together in each race, and punters will find the task of selecting winners by no means easy. The course is in excellent order for winter racing.
