Clean Sheet To All Hotels

v WAIPAWA, Last Night. A clean sheet was given by SeniorSergeant Sivyer, of Hastings, to all hotels in the district under the supervision of the Waipawa Licensing Oommittee, which held its annual meeting to-day. The licenses of 13 hotels were renewed, and a new licence granted to the proprietor of one other hotel. Mr. J. Miller, S.M., presided over the following members of the committee: — Messrs. 0. H. Critchley, W. G. Bryce, R. McLean, H. D. Limbrick, J. Wharmby. The following proprietors were granted renewals : — D. J. O'Brien, Exchange Hotel, Havelock North; O. M. Petersen, Commercial Hotel, Waipawa ; T. W. Wiliis, Empire Hotel, Waipawa ; O. Upton, Imperial Hotel, Waipawa; O. Hart, Te Aute Hotel ; R. W. Rust, Railway Hotel, Otane; T. P. Sullivan, Sandford Arms Hotel, Ongaonga; T. Dunn, Sawyers Arms Hotel, Tikokino; 0. L. Crooks, Tavistock Hotel, Waipukurau; J. Murphy, Takapau Hotel; P. M. Coady, Crown Hotel, Norsewood ; A. T. Walker, Patangata Hotel; F. C Walker, Wanstead Hotel An application by E. O. Dunn for a new license in respect of the Junction Hotel, Norsewood, was granted.
