Second Korero of Season

WAIPAWA, Last Night. The second korero for the season of j the Waipawa Savage Club was held in I the Municipal Concert Hall last evenj ing, Chief Savage E. W. Chisholm presiding over an attendance of somo I forty members and visitors. The programme for the evendng was in the. hands of Past Chief Savages Woods j and Barlcer. [ The programme commenced with a selection by the club orchestra, followed by a reading by Savage Nichoile, yodelling songs by a visitor from Waipukurau, Mr Parsons, elocutionary numbers by Savage A. E. Jull, songs by Savage Venner, and an instrumental trio by Savages Windle, Cottrell and Eust. The second half of the programme, in charge of Savage Barker, aiso opened with an orchestral selection, after which Savage F. W. Ward was heard an. several humohrous recitations, Savage Motley gave a euphonium solo, Savage Strang mueical saw, and Savage Cottrell played as a concluding item, a 'cello solo entitled "Folk Songs." A very pleasant evening closed with the singing of the National Anthem. The programme for the next korero will be in the hands of Savages Dallas and Nieholla.
