Aviation in Schools of British Columbia

VICTORIA, B. C.— Aviation is finding its way into the curriculum of the public schools of British Golumbia and will play a larger part in teehnical studies in the future. Only elementary instruction in the groundwork of flying will be possible, but this will be coupled with m'eteorological and mechanical studies where feasible. For some* time the high school correspondence courses condueted by the Department of Education for students in remote districts has been offering the theory of aviation and meteorology to special pupils by mail. It is planned now to extend this work into teehnical or vocational courses in the course of a revision of curriculum now under way.
