It is eaid that during production 'In "Maytime," the latest MacDonaldEddy fllm, John was sometimes so nervous that he couldn't remember his lines and they had to be written on a blackboard out of sight of the camera, where he could read them during scenes. . M.G.M., however, still have plenty of faith in him. He has gone off on a short hoKday and will return to play with Jeanette once more — in "Firefly."
