JOHN BARRYMORE'S DOMESTIC AFFAIRS
John Barrymore hasn't been having the best of luck lately, says an Amerlcan paper. His private affairs interfered with his professional career to such an extent that, at one time, Heliywoq^ thonght he would be giving up acting altogether. It is eaid that during production 'In "Maytime," the latest MacDonaldEddy fllm, John was sometimes so nervous that he couldn't remember his lines and they had to be written on a blackboard out of sight of the camera, where he could read them during scenes. . M.G.M., however, still have plenty of faith in him. He has gone off on a short hoKday and will return to play with Jeanette once more — in "Firefly."
