TWYFORD PARTY AND DANCE

•J A jolly party and dance given by the Twyford Bachelors and Spinsters in honour of Mr W. (Bill) Holt, whose marriage to Miss Flora Kent takes place shortly, was recently held in the Twyford schoolroom. . Games, competitions and dauclng wero enjoyed till a late hour. The music was supplied by Mr T. Maloney. Mr D. McNab and Miss M. McLeod were the wiiiners of the Monte Carlo. Foilowing a weleome supper, Mr J. Trotter, on behalf of the Bachelors and Spinsters, presented the guest-of-honour with a bandsome fire-scroen. Mr- Holt suitably conveyed tlianks and was accorded musical honours. Those present were: Mr and Mrs W. Burnett, Misses F. Kent, A., I)., and M. Griffiths, A., and M. DIcAnultv, D. Peterson, J. Richards, 1. J. Burge, J. Trotter, J. Tait, M. McLeod, Messrs M. Holt, H. Holt, J). McNab, L. Masters, W. and T. Aiclieson, R. and J. Trotter, 15. Connor, C. Peterson, F. Tait, E. Brandon, R. McLeod and R. - Arnott.
