LADIES' GUILD

Meeting of St. Mary's, Waipukurau (From Our Own Correspondent) WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. The usual monthly meeting of St. Mary's Guild was held in the old ehurch this afternoon, when there was an excellent attendance of members. Apologies were tendered from Mrs Y. Bradley (seeretary) and Mesdames Hurdsfield and H. De Lacy. A weleome was extended to Mrs E. D. Rdce, afte* her Tecent illness, and sympathy was extended to the Rev. Canon E. D. Rice, who is a patient in the Waipukurau Public Hospital, with wishes for his speedy recovery. Final arrangements were made for the social evening which is to be held in two weeks' time, and it was decided to hold a meeting of all stall-holders the last Tuesday in June to make arrangements for the spring bulb show. Afternoon tea was dispensed ,by Mesdames A. O. Williams, J. Windle and Miss Peacock.
