Two Otane Residents Farewelled

uxAJNJii, Xiast jNignt. A very jolly party was held on Monday night, when members of the Labour Party met to farewell Messrs E. and T. Cameron, who leave shortly to talco up their residence in the Drury, South Auckland, district. The time passed pleasantly with cards, music, song and story. During the evening the president, Mr Huston, conveyed the best wishes of those assembled for the future happiness and success of the guests of honour, and presented them with mementoes of their stay in Otane. The Messrs Cameron, who were accorded musical honours, returned thanks for the pleasant evening and good wishes of the company. A delicious savoury supper was served, and the singing of "Auld Lang Syne" brought an enjoyable evening to a close. •
