Mr Cordell Hull, Secretary of State, annotmeed that he had appealed to the Grerman atid Spanish GoverflmentSj through thfeir Atnbassadofs ,for a pftafcefui adjtistment of the crisis atising ffom the borftbifig of the Deutschland 'and the shdlling of Almcuia. The New York Times says Mr Hull 's action is one infrequently taken and reflects the grave concern which is devfeloping concerning the international aspect of the Spanish eivil war and the hope of the tJnited States that the conflict be kept isoiated from the remainder of Europe.
