Conscieuce nioney to tbe sum of £1 was received tbrough tlie . pobtv this morning by tlie firm oi' Foster 'Brook. booksellei, Hastings. The nioney was in tlie form of stamps. there 'being 10/ . in penny stamps and 10/- in twopenny stamps. I liel'e was a sheet of paper on which were written the woi'ds "Conscieuce Money."' and the envelope was apparentiy addressed in ditt'erent handwriting, Mr. C. Brook is mystified at the arrival of the money, for lie is not aware of any goods or money to this value having been stolen from. his fitxm.
