(Received June 2, 10.15 a.m.) LONDON, June 1. Instead o~ having to await for dispatclies and an exchange of views telegraphically the Dominion Prime Minister's held a consultation with Mr Neville Chamberlain, and Mr Anthony Eden and other members of the British Cabinet to-day and were thus able to deal with the Spanish crisis on the spot. This morning 's meeting of the Imperial Conference originally intended to continue the foreign affairs discussion and deal with the Far East, but the crisis has completely altered the situation. Mr Eden dealt entirelv with Spain, explaining the latest situation and outlining the British representations. Eacli Dominion Prime Minister participated in the discussion. The Australian Associated Press understands that the Dominions' delegates fully approved of Mr Eden's emphasis of the necessity to regard the situation calmly in eonjunetion with appealing to Herr Hitlcr not to make the situation graver. The morning's discussions providcd a further opportunity for the Dominion 's representatives to indicate in the plainest words insistenco that Eugland and. the Dominions must at all costs strive not to bo embroiled by such incidents which are not Eurpire affairs. Nothing has emerged more clearly from the conference than the Dominions' unanimity on the matter, which has been persistently expressed with the greatest forcefulness by overy Prime Minister.
