People walklng along West End-lane, Hampstead, England, saw a child fall 50 feet to the ground from the window of a top flat. Tliey rau to her, cxpecting to fiiul her doad. But Brenda Christino Stebbings, agcd Ihree and a-half, was alive, though gravoly injurcd. Her fall liad bcen broken by an iron bar. All that happencd tliroo' months ago. Brenda was takou to Now End Hospital, Hampstead. It was thoughfc that, with lcg and hip injuries, shc would not recover. T.wo operations were earried out. Hlowly and skilfully the cliib] was nursed back to health and strcngth. Skill of the surgeon, physician and nurse have made lier almost well again. She can even walk a little without support. /
