MR J. F. TOMAN

The late Mr. John Franpia Toman, who passed away at Lyall Bay, Wellington, on Saturday, was a well-known and much xespected citizen of Napier. Born at St. Ives, CornwaH, in 1853, the late Mr. Toman came to Napier about 40 years ago, remaining in this town ever since and being engaged in the stevedoring business. To mourn their loss are foyr daughters, s Mrs. J, R. Rickard (Palmerston North), Mrs. C. R. Montgomery (Greenmeadows), Mrs. H. Murray (Auckland) and Mrs. S. V, Masters (Lyali Bay, Wellington). The i'uneral took place in Napier yesterday.
