MRS MARTHA EAGLETON

The death occurrecl in -Auckland on Monday at the age of 70 years of a welbknown former resident of Napier for many years in the person of Mrs. Martha Eagleton, wife of Mr. Alex E. Eagleton, of 28 Burnley Terrace, Mt. Eden, Auckland. During the South Afriean War the late Mrs. Eagleton and her liusband were indefatigable workers in connection with seud-ofl: functions for the various contingents, and also later with organising the despatch of gifts, etc., to the men. The sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended to ihe two daughters and son in their sad bereavement.
