TRAFFIC BREACHES
■ 1 + Oftenders Fined in Napier Court Breaohes of the traffic regulationa constituted the majordty of the cases heard by Mr. J. Miller, S.M., at a session of the Napier Magistrate's Court yesterday. Fines were imposed in a31 cases. •For employing a boy of 13 to drive a motor lorry on the Napier-Tar&dale road, Patrick WiJJiam Ki'lkenny, of Taradale, dairyman, was fined £2, with 10/- costs. It was explained by Mr. C. W. Nash that defendant, who had taught the boy to drive, had asked hina to deliver some milk to a dairy at Port Ahuriri, as he had been detained for reasons of business. George Imbach Cumming Taylor, of Napier, storeman, was fined £2 10/-, with 10/- costs, for failing to give way to traffic approaching from the right. rl'he prosecution was the sequel to a collision in Napier Terrace. Thomas Robinson, of Taradale, retired, was fined 10/-, with 10/- costs, for negligent driving in Emerson street, Napier. Lockyers, Ltd., of Napier, music dealers, were fined 10/-, with 10/- costs, for operating a trade vehicle without a tail-lieht. For driving at a dangerous speed in Nelson Crescent, Jack Mervyn Burgess, of Napier, driver, was fined £2, with 10/- costs. William Little, of Hastings, cabinetmaker, was 41ned £3, with 14/- costs, for driving at a dangerous speed. Alfred Henry Pemberton, of Wairoa, driver, was fined £2, with 10/- costs, for driving at a dangerous speed. James Cowell, of Napier, carpentor, was fined 10/-, with 10/- costs, fot riding an unlighted bicycle.
