WAIPUKURAU THEATRE
A really delightful programme will be presented at the Waipukurau Theatre to-morrow (Tuesday) night at 8. Of the two pictures to be screened both are equally attractive. Bobby Breen, the nine-year-old wonder boy, will thrill you with his glorious voice in "Let's Sing Again." This is a heart-warming drama of the boy who jumped the f ence to search for the daddy he knew he'd find somewhere in the great big world outside the orphanage. Bobby is not "just another child actor" but an amazing new screen personality with a singing voice that is astounding the world. "Brides Are Like That" with Ross Alexander and Anita Louise, is the second feature to ,be screened. This is a rollieking comedy-romance hased on the stage hit "Applesauce" by Barry Conners. Ross Alexander is the happy-go-lucky ne'er-do-well with a gift for flattery while Anita Louise makes a charming smalltown belle. There 's an unusual plot and an unexpected and hilarlous climax. Seats' may be reserved at Hawke's, 'phone 282.
