Wednesday Players* Stroke Round From Our Own Correspondent. WAIPAWA, This Day. The stroke round played last Wednesday by members of the Waipawa Golf Club for the captain's trophy resulted in a large entry from the Wednesday section. Good cards were re-turn-id by most of the players, the best of wbich weie as under: —
Mitchell and Bryant will play-off to decide the winner of this section, who will meet R. Knobloch in the final of this trophy. Play for the King George Memorial Fund during the Aveek-end will commence at D.15 sharp, and a gjood day is assured all competitors. A' draw will be made at the pavilion and players are requested to be on time. Aiteruoon tea will be available at the links but members are required to provide their own lunch. A st-roke round will be played during the morning and a mixed Canadian foursome during the afternoon.
