' Quarterly Meeting (From Dur Own Con-espondent.) TAKAPAU. This Day. Tbe quarterly meeting of the Loyal Takapau Lodge, Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows, was7 held in the Town Hall supper-room, when the N.G., Bro. G. Park, presided over a fairly large attendance, One new member was initiated into the Order. Accounts totalling £42 2/8 were passed for payment. Letters of recommendation were granted to Bro. A. G. Jensen and Sis. E. Lang, both of wliom have left the district. A resignation was received with regret from Sis. F. Versey, who is leaving the district. 1 The following officers were elected and installed for the ensuing term : N.G., Bro. C. Marshall; V.G., Sis. J. Vesty ; elective secretary, Sis. A. Bould; financial secret-ary, Bro. R. H. Walters, P.G. The lodge closed in harmony and supper was served, after which pin'g pong and cards were enjoyed by all present.
