WAIPUKURAU, This Day. Following were the best cards handed in for the seuior and • junior medal matches, played on the Maharakeke links on Wednesday by the members of the Waipukurau Ladies' Golf Club : —

Following the golf on Wednesday, a pleasant function took place, when Mr D. McScott paid the penalty of playing a hole-in-one last Saturday by entertaining all the lady players to afternoon tea. The ladies showed their appreciation by singing "For He's a , Jolly Good Fellow," followed by three rousing cheers.
