Motorisf s Gruesome Discovery

EOTOEUA, Last Night. A motorist proceeding from Whakatane to Eotorua this morning made the gruesome discovery of the dead body of a man lying in the back of a stationary car, near the foot of Eotoma hilL The man had apparently been dead 24 hours. The "motorist passed the car on the way from Whakatane to Eotorua earlier.in the day and, noticing it still there on his return, decided to investigate. Papers in the pocket bear the name, Wm. Gibson, but there was no ipeans of discovering his abode. -A receipt for 17s for the hire of the car was in the name of an Auckland rental firm.
