The British Legion will hold a social and dance in the JJnited Hall, Lyndon road, to-night at 8 p.m. Members and friends only are dnvited to attend. • V A reminder is givon of the meetiiig to be held in the Nelson Strcet Hall to-mghtrat 7.30, whon Mr G. C. Hicks will give an address of speciu" interest to every young Christian. Mr Hicks has a special gift for work among young men and. women, and his address to-night should prove inspiring and helpful to all who would seek to honour God in their daily life. A bridal fair will be held in the Balvation Army Hall to-night at eight o'clock.. A programme will be given by several wcll-known artist3. The bridal party will arrnve at approximatdly 8.45, and, following this itein, gifts will be distributed to members of the congregation. The proceede will go to. the Sunday Sclippi f juuds*
