(Reeeived 27, 8,45 a,m») LONDON, May 26, The Manchester Guardian's Brest Litovsk speeial correspondent discloses details of a terrible Polish pogrom at Brest Litovsk lasting 15 hours, during whjch the Jewish population of 22,000 was at the mercy of the mob. Whole streets of houses and shops were wrecked and looted and synagogues and schools demoiished, whiie Hundreds of the poorer Jews wqre ruined. The rioters were chiefly peasants led by the Fascist anti-Semite party agitatqrH. Most of the nomJews often applauded the looters, though others courageausly palvaged Jewish prpperfy from destructipn. The Minister qf the Interior hag qrdered an inquiry.
