His condition is seriQus and remaina unchanged. Lieutenant-Colonel W. W. Clemesha, formerly of the Indian Medical Service, who intends to make bis bome in North Auckland, bas arrived from Sydney. Colonel Clemesha was in charge of medical services in German East Africa during tbe Great War, and recently was direetor of tbe malaria cQntrol scbema at Bandarawela, Ceylon,. Mr, T. Mason-Chambers was reelected chairman of the Te Mata Park Trust Board at tbe board 's quarterly meeting. On tbe motion of Mr. F. E. Smith, seconded by Mr. W. H. M. Diamond, g'ratilication was expressed at the reported improvement in Mr, Mason Chamber's health, and it was hoped that be would be well enough to pres-.de at tbe next meeting.
