CORONATION PAGEANT

Hastings Townswomen's Guild In response to many demands for a repotition of the Coronation entertainment organised by members of the Hastings Townswomen's Guild the programme was given again at th'e Hastings Municipal Theatre last evening. A large audience showed by warm applause how much it had appreciated every part of the programoie. At the conclusion of the performance ,the Mayor, Mr. G. A. Maddison, eongratulated the guild members on their very snccessful entertainment and asked the organisers, Mrs. E. Eiley and Mrs. F. Deans, to come forward. He also eongratulated the pianist, Miss McHutchon, who was responsible for the musical part of the programme. Mr Maddison thanked the members of the guild for their contribution to the Eing George V. Memorial Fund. The proceeds of the tw:o performtuces were approximately £50.
