A CORRECTION
Mr. Broadbent's Recent Statements In our issue of April 6 we published a Press Association message suggesting that Mr H. F, Broadbent had resigned from air line piloting because he was required to get through despite the weather. We now wish to state publicly that Mr Broadbent did not give the dangers of airline piloting, or that he was required to get through despite the weather, as the reason for his resignation, hut it was solely due to liis desire to fly solo to England in an attempt on the existing record that he resigned. Accordingly, we wish to apologise frankly to Mr Broadbent for the ervoneous impression the article created.
