Final Reply to a "A Good Landlord"
" A GOOD TENANT."
Siry— -Having read "A Good Landlord's" reply to my letter of the 18th, also your footnote about divulging hcr name and address on application, I may inform you that to show "A Good Landlord" how disinterested I am to know who she is, what she is, or what part of the town she lives in I ahan't avail myself of her offer. It may also shdw her that. I am not so presumptuous or sceptical as she makes out I am. As regards my previous answers to "A Good Landlord V* letters, I have nothing to retract or apologise for. Further, my main object in answering "A Good Landlord 's" previous correspondenee was not as to whether she was a good landlord or a ,bad oue, or whether she possessed any other good qualifications, but her indirect darts or jibes at our good Government's legislation and so-called haiSl* Testrictions On landlords, and also her sarcastic references to immigrants, sustenanee, unemployed, etc, Finally, may I ask "A Good Landlord" and "Good Landlord," if thero were two parties writing under the same nom-de-plume, to furni'sh you, Mr Editor, with authority to publish their respective names and addresses in your eohxmns, and as soon, as you get authority I authorise you to publish mine with them. This may divulge to- readers that " A Good Tenant's previous credentials and good citizenship may be on a par with "A Good I/andlord's." Thanking you, Mr Editor, for space afforded me in your colunms. — Yours, etc..
