The Hawke's Bay Football Association 's sole selector, Mr R. Gallacher, has announced the following alteration in the Hawke's Bay-Poverty Bay team to meet the England amateur Soccer team at McLean Park, Napier, on Thursday: — Y. Edlin is to replace T. Hill, of Poverty Bay, who is unavailable, and F. Smith (Y.M.C.A.) will be an additional reserve. The English team is composed 0# some of the most prominent amateur players in the . code at Home, every one of whom has reached international honours. This will be Hawke 's Bay ! only opportunity of seeing the visitors j in action, so they would he advised to i mako provision for seating accommodation as early as possible.
