Watersiderc, Three Short, Draw with Rangers The Soccer matchcs on Saturday at Nelson Park, Napier, produced some well contested games. There was a good gathering of spectators, and the play was watched with interest. In neither of the games was there much between the two sides, but Y.M.C.A. combined better than did United, and their attaCk liad more sting in it, while tliey Ivere equally good in defence. Watersiders, playing* three men short, held Rangers to a draw, and withia full toam should undouhtedly have won. The lower-grade matches will recommence after the school vacation. Results: — * SENIOES Y.M.C.A. (2) v. United (nil). — Rigbv kicked a goal and one was kicked from a penalty. Mr' J. Biggs was referee. WatersideTs (1) v. Rangers (1). — J, Plows scored for Watersiders and T. Howe gaoled for Rangers. Mr W. G. b'cott refereed. JUNIORS High School (3) v. H.S.O.B. (1). Magpies (3) v. Y.M.C.A. (nil).
