A NEW STAR DISCOVERY
After a long period in which new faces rarely appeared on the screen, more than half a dozcn new celdbrities have leaped to famo within the past fow months. Deanna Durbin, Olivia De HavUland. Errol Flynn, Tyrone Power, John Trent anl Simone Simon are among the newcomers who were unheard of a year ago, but who have become high favourites with pieturegoers. To this favoured group has recently been added the name of Joan Fontaine, Wonde British beauty currently sharing leading honours with Joan Beal in REO Radio 's "The Man who Found Himself." After only one screen appearance, a minor role in Katharine Hepburu's "Quality Street," Miss Fontaine was given her currcnt part, and studio executives predict carly stardom for tho newcomer.
