Could Be Obviated By Amalgamation The delay in the carrying-out of work due to the multiplicity of local bodies was ycsterday pointed out to the Minister of Internal Aft'airs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, by Mr F. B. Logan, chairman of the Hawke's Bay County Council, who stated that important works were held up for montlis wiiile replies were awaited from other bod'os concerned. The Minister, in reply, said that he was well aware of tho delays which took place and whicli could be eliminated under a system of amalgamation.
