GAMES AT NAPIER
There were many disappointed football followers-at McLean Park, Napier, last Saturday, and their disappointxment wr% due only to being unable.to find seating acconimodation. The old etand was .full long) before the comr mencement of tbe match, and many accustomed to good seats had to leau on the fence. It is many years since the standard of . club football has been so high and drawn. such public interest. Club rivalry is very keen and th© winner of the senior competition is sure to be found in one of the .present leading teams that give etrict attention to training mehods. Now'that players are physically fit the second-round training Will be a battle of tactics, and this is where some of the leading teams may be upset. The main attraction at McLean Park to-morrow will be restricted to the two leading teams — Technical and Marist. This match does .not require any comment, and it is sufficient to say that the Hawke's Bay Rugby TJnion, to accommodate the largie crowd, has decided to play it on No. 2 ground so tliat tbe new stand can be brought into use. On No. 1 ground Eskview, in their first appearance on McLean Park this season will play Pirates.
